git-hub software package provides Git command line interface to GitHub, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install git-hub
git-hub is installed in your system.
Make ensure the git-hub package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep git-hub *
You will get with git-hub package name, version, architecture and description in a table
